HORROR HUDDLE w/ Stacey-Beth & Ash: CANDYMAN (1992) movie review

I heard that if you say its name 5 times in a mirror, it'll finally appear after a very long hiatus...

Oh my goodness, y'all- HORROR HUDDLE is back!

It's been a long time since we've last filmed an episode, so we're a tad rusty, forgive us. On this latest ep, we talk about urban horror flick, CANDYMAN!

Ash and Stacey are huge fans of this one and decided to talk about their love for it, Stacey's first time viewing experience of it which led to her unfortunate 1st grade PTSD, and our opinion that the big man himself, Candyman, is a largely underappreciated horror villain.

Give it a watch and leave us some feedback!

#TBT Thanksgiving Horror w/ Horror Huddle!

Ok, I know we posted this video 2 years ago but I feel like it's worth a repeat viewing.

(P.S. I swear it's a shitty turkey hat and NOT an Native American headdress.  We just suck at crafting.)

"Check out our ep on Thanksgiving-related flicks, Thankskilling and 1987'sBlood Rage.  This time around Ash and I finally get together in person and not only manage to keep our babbling limited to 20 min, but we also crafted a stupid turkey hat for me to wear.  That warrants a pity watch at least, right??"

Horror Huddle with Stacey-Beth & Ash: THE DESCENT (2005) & THE DESCENT 2 (2009)

Oh my god, could it be?  A "new" episode of HORROR HUDDLE?!

I say new with quotations because this video was actually filmed right after Halloween of '16 but we never got around to posting it up...until now!

Which will lead me to apologize in advance for the atrocious sound (we've gotten better equipment since then!) and I messed up the settings during filming so that's why I'm trapped in a box on the bottom corner of the video.

Good news is that Ash and I are going to be filming new content for you all starting this week!

Onto the video- this week we talk Neil Marshall's adventure horror THE DESCENT and its less-than-stellar sequel THE DESCENT 2 directed by Jon Harris.

Ash took the week off, so we're joined by Adam to discuss the wildly successful GET OUT from director/writer Jordan Peele!

I probably sound like a dummy for the better part of the video but let's just blame that on the several beers I had prior to filming. ;)

Holy Ghost People (2013) + Misery (1990)

Ash and SB decided to do something different and make another segment (Horror Huddle is still very much so a thing) where, at the end of the month, we each pick and discuss movies that wouldn't necessarily be considered straight horror. (Plus it's a great excuse for us to talk more about random movies we enjoy.)

p.s. We discuss it in the video, but we haven't quite nailed down a name for this segment, so any suggestions would be appreciated and rad!

That being said, on this first episode of "Not-Yet-Named", we discuss S-B's pick, 2013's thriller/drama Holy Ghost People, about a woman's search for her sister in a cult of snake handlers.  Then we talk about Ash's pick, the classic 1990 thriller, Misery, adapted from the Stephen King novel about a novelist who has been taken in by his "biggest fan" after getting in a car accident.
