Sifting through the collection of films on Shudder, I stumbled on 2008's Shuttle which had a pretty basic plot and seemed like it would just end up being another "survival horror".  To my surprise, it ended up being a pretty entertaining movie that didn't play out like I had expected it to.  It also reaffirms my belief that people just shouldn't be trusted!

Survival horror films put our biggest fears onto the screen- where people are stuck in an environment (usually surrounded by nature) while trying to survive the elements and/or being hunted by someone or something.  From Aftershock and Eden's Lake to Black Rock and Wolf Creek, people have been surviving and dying on film so we don't have to (well, at least not at that exact moment.)
